Bampton Gallery lies in the middle of one of the most attractive villages in Devon.
Inside you will find an antique shop with a variety of small pieces of furniture, pictures, glass, and the real speciality, porcelain. You will also find a flourishing upholstery business, and in the house behind, delightful bed & breakfast accommodation.
Outside, in Brook Street, water from the Shuttern Brook runs in channels down the sides of the road - there is ample parking nearby. Many of the houses in the street are of historical interest and are listed.
Apart from our business interests our main activities lie in enjoyment of the many facilities that this quiet and attractive locality has to offer. We are all gardeners in one way or another whether it involves our own, the planting (and weeding etc.) of Bampton’s many displays or our allotments. We are lucky that you can walk around Bampton on all sides and we have books and maps available for the walker, cyclist and most field naturalists.
